Packaging & Shipping

Packaging that keeps cocoa beans dry and sound for weeks at sea, and shipping that gets them to your port on schedule — from Lagos to Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Packaging Options

Choose the Format That Fits Your Receiving Facility

Bagged for conventional warehouses, or bulk for grinders with pneumatic or tipping discharge — we pack to suit the destination.

New Jute Bags

The international standard for cocoa: new, clean, food-grade jute sacks with hydrocarbon-free batching oil, 62.5 kg or 64 kg net, machine-stitched and stencilled with your marks.

Bulk in Flexi-Liner

Loose beans loaded into a food-grade liner fitted inside a 20' container — higher payload per box and lower handling cost for grinders equipped to receive bulk.

Kraft Lining & Desiccant

Every bagged container is lined with kraft paper on walls and roof and fitted with desiccant to absorb condensation during the voyage.

Lot Marking

Bags stencilled with grade, lot number, origin and your contract marks — essential for traceable shipments and letter-of-credit compliance.

Bag Standards

Why Jute, and Why New

Jute breathes, which lets residual moisture escape rather than condensing against the beans, and it is strong enough to survive multiple handlings. We use only new bags: second-hand sacks can carry odours, pests and mineral-oil contamination that end up in the cocoa and fail destination food-safety checks.

  • New food-grade jute, hydrocarbon-free (low-mineral-oil) batching
  • Net weight 62.5 kg or 64 kg as contracted, check-weighed at bagging
  • Machine stitching with clean closure, no loose fibres
  • Stencilled marks: origin, grade, lot, contract reference
