Cocoa Export Services
A complete export service for international buyers — from farm-gate sourcing and grading in Nigeria's cocoa belt to a documented, sealed container leaving Lagos.
Everything Between the Farm Gate and Your Customs Broker
Importing cocoa from Nigeria involves far more than buying bags. We take responsibility for the whole chain so you can focus on processing and selling.
Sourcing & Aggregation
We assemble container volumes from farmer groups and licensed buying agents across Ondo, Cross River, Osun, Ekiti, Oyo and neighbouring states, selecting for fermentation quality, dryness and bean size.
Grading & Conditioning
Cut test, moisture and bean count on intake; re-drying, screening and hand-picking of foreign matter; separation into Grade I and Grade II lots to the specification in your contract.
Bagging & Lot Marking
New, clean jute bags at 62.5 kg or 64 kg net, stencilled with your marks and lot numbers; or bulk loading in flexi-liner for grinders that receive loose beans.
Inspection & Certification
FPIS grading and quality certificate for every shipment, laboratory analysis on request, and coordination of SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or Cotecna pre-shipment inspection where you require it.
Export Documentation
NXP, commercial, origin, phytosanitary, fumigation, quality, weight and bank documents prepared, checked and shared with you in draft before sailing — including letter-of-credit document sets.
Logistics & Freight
Container booking, kraft lining, haulage to port, customs clearance and stuffing supervision at Lagos, with ocean freight to your port arranged on CFR/CIF terms if preferred.

Single Containers to Seasonal Supply Programmes
We serve buyers at every scale. First-time importers typically begin with a single 20' container and a courier sample beforehand. Established grinders and trading houses move to seasonal programmes — a contracted tonnage across the main crop, agreed specification, rolling shipments and predictable sailings, with pricing fixed or to be fixed against the futures market.
- Trial container with pre-shipment sample
- Multi-container orders with staggered loading
- Main-crop forward contracts with reserved allocation
- Fixed-price or price-to-be-fixed contracts
- Dedicated account contact and shipment calendar

Origin Data Your Compliance Team Can Use
Buyers selling into the European Union and other regulated markets need to know exactly where their cocoa was grown. For traceable single-origin lots we maintain a farmer register, map supplying plots, keep the lot physically segregated from intake to container seal, and supply geolocation data in the format your due-diligence platform accepts.
- Named producing area (e.g. Ondo, Cross River) per lot
- Farmer register and plot GPS points / polygons
- Segregated handling and lot-marked bags
- Inspector verification of lot identity at stuffing
- Support for supplier questionnaires and audits
